„In 2004, reading the press, more precisely the newspaper The Truth, a headline that said something like this caught my attention: „An apiary with polyurethane beehives was financed in Tecuci”. It should be put into context that we, as a group of companies FAROGER / FAROSTUP, have been working in rigid polyurethane various parts for industry since 1994.

Doing a more in-depth study, I found out that beekeepers in Germany and the Scandinavian countries raise families of bees in polyurethane hives. This was the moment of debut of FAROSTUP and the entire system created up to now. From that moment, namely the year 2004 and until the first months of 2005, we had countless discussions with various beekeepers, who brought us the first knowledge about the standards used in beekeeping and about the problems of beekeeping and especially of beehives.

Then I really realized that the polyurethane and the technology that we were already using can be used, and we can together with the collaboration of some beekeepers who offer us beekeeping information, in order to create a NEW and revolutionary product. Thus, in 2005, the first versions of Farostup V10 and the balm Farostup V6 appeared.”
